By now we all know the popular holiday destinations such as Key West, New York, Miama, Spain and Paris. These destinations are great, but what about visiting some other places? Indulge yourself and experience new cultures while meeting interesting people!

Kiev, Ukraine
Ukraine is a country that some of us might remember from the nuclear meltdown a few decades ago. A lot has changed since then. Kiev is the capital of Ukraine and was a leading host for the European Soccer Championship in 2012. That championship has brought the city a lot of prosperity. If you like to visit a country in which being gay is still a taboo and all men go completely wild once they can finally be themselves: Kiev is for you! There are numerous (underground) clubs and plenty of places to meet likeminded guys and girls. Be careful though, this is not the country to be all out. The hotels are quite deluxe and very cheap.

Amsterdam, The Netherlands
The Netherlands was the first country in the world to legalize gay marriage. The country itself is completely flat which makes it easy to get around. The city of Amsterdam has a rich history. One of the things nobody knows is that the city is completely built on wooden poles, something that you cannot see above ground. The year 2013 is a very special year for the country since the new king (King Willem Alexander IV) will be coronated on April 30th, something that happens only once very 30 years. The world famous Queensday will be renamed to Kingsday from then on. There’s a thriving underground scene in Amsterdam and quite a few new clubs have (re)-opened over the past year.

Nashville, Tenessee
When you think of Nashville, Tenessee, you might not think of a thriving gay scene. True, Nashville is a center of country music, but also so much more than that. If you would like to enjoy a few days down-to-earth then come to Tenessee and unwind from all the stress. Sometimes you might get tired of all the fabulosity and exhausting superficiality of the popular destinations. Nashville is real and the people are genuine. And the city really offers that hospitality and friendliness we are all looking for. If you want to get away from it all, then come here and immerse yourself in the laid-back lifestyle of Nashville. One of the key Nashville hotels is the Union Station Hotel, situated in a 100-year old railway station.
