And the winner is…
On behalf of our team, the guys at Grindr, and our friends at Aspen Gay Ski week, we would like to congratulate James M. of Chicago for winning a FREE trip to Aspen’s Gay Ski Week events in early 2012!
James is a 37 year old Physicians Assistant who was born and raised in the Chicago neighborhood of Andersonville. Joining him on the vacation will be Peter, his partner of 13 years. Aside from being dog lovers (to whom we’re always partial), the duo are avid travelers and recently took trips to Argentina and Palm Springs. Their future travel plans include an all-gay cruise to the Baltic and returning to Palm Springs for the infamous White Party. Although the couple has attended gay ski week events in the past, this will be their first time going to Aspen. We are thrilled to be sending them!
When we asked James how he heard about the contest he informed us that he found the contest through a share on his friend’s Facebook page. We love the power of social media!
James suggested that people planning to visit Chicago should make sure to visit Andersonville. His favorite spots include Marty’s Martini Bar, Lake Michigan, Boystown, and the architectural boat tours that cruise up and down the Chicago river. According to James, “Chicago is all about the neighborhoods and the small bars and restaurants.”
