Google is taking a huge step in the right direction by launching their "Legalize Love" campaign, which hopes to advance marriage rights for the LGBT community beginning in countries where the tech giant has offices such as Poland and Singapore.

The campaign involves developing relationships, facilitated by Google, between companies and grass roots organizations to promote marriage equality internationally. The push begins in Singapore specifically because they hope to become a global financial leader. Google writes in a statement that “‘Legalize Love’ is a campaign to promote safer conditions for gay and lesbian people inside and outside the office in countries with anti-gay laws on the books". The Legalize Love campaign is one of Google's many efforts to promote the advancement of gay rights- it is definitely the biggest step the company has taken though!

What are your thoughts on the Legalize Love campaign? Can Google help bring about social change?
