If there is a King of gay in England (or perhaps Europe) it is Jeremy Joseph. One time promoter turned gay nightclub magnate, Joseph now rules the mighty realm of G-A-Y venues in Central London. But, is Jeremy Joseph a terrible tyrant or a merry monarch? It really depends on you. If you are a good you get perks like bouncing from venue to venue, enjoying trilateral drink specials, wrist bands at one place for entry at another, and “membership.” However, if you are bad you’ll be banned from the entire chain.
A Little Background
After the famed Astoria shut for massive renovations, the G-A-Y brand needed a new jewel in its crown. Thankfully, the massive nightclub, Heaven, was on the market, and Joseph bought it up in late 2008. The newly christened G-A-Y Club is one of the largest LGBT venues in Europe and is the flagship nightclub for the growing G-A-Y brand. G-A-Y Club is where you are going to party the night away. There is something going on every night of the week and, to be honest, you don’t know London’s LGBT scene if you don’t know G-A-Y Club.
G-A-Y Bar is your first stop for the night. Offering cheap drinks and three floors, including the Lesbian Lounge, to get you into the mood. G-A-Y Bar is your introduction to the brand. This is where you get hooked.
New to London? G-A-Y Late is your new haunt. Not only is this your spot for a regular night out, but this the answer to Last Call at all the other London bars. A G-A-Y membership card in your hands means closing time doesn’t come till 3am.

Becoming a G-A-Y member is a piece of cake. Get your butt down to G-A-Y Late any Sunday, before 1am, and get your ID swiped through their new computer. You are now a member.
Being a G-A-Y member doesn’t just get a late Last Call. Being a member gets you free entry to G-A-Y Late every night of the week as well free entry to G-A-Y club on Monday, Thursday, and Friday. You also get to skip the line at all three venues. If they are at capacity you get priority entrance too.
What Makes This Place so Special
Perhaps the G-A-Y brand is best known for bringing mega-stars to play for crowds of just a few thousand people. In recent years Beyonce, Madonna, Pink, Amy Winehouse, Britney Spears, Robyn, Miley Cyrus, and Kylie Minogue have all come out to play at one of the G-A-Y nightclubs. For the price of admission ($10) revelers in the London LGBT scene get full access to the hottest acts. G-A-Y Members also get first crack at advance tickets.
