Seattle, Washington

A rich coffee culture permeates Seattle thanks to the now-ubiquitous Starbucks that originated down at the largest public market in the country, the Pike Place Market. In its true quirky form, Seattle has plenty of creative industries flourishing in the shadows of corporate giants like Amazon and Microsoft. And who doesn’t love the Seattle Space Needle?!

Washington, DC, is not only the nation’s capitol but is also its cultural capitol. The National Mall with plenty of monuments, as well as an abundance of museums, contribute to the strong sense of history that is imbued at every turn in this bustling government center. Raleigh/Durham, North Carolina

The Raleigh-Durham-Cary area, otherwise known as the Research Triangle, hosts Duke University and the third-highest percentage of adults with at least a bachelor’s degree. These three cities Raleigh make up a rather-welcoming area in one of the more progressive Southern U.S. states. The home to major universities and high-tech industry, there is a surprising variety of good arts, cultural and dining opportunities here! Tel Aviv, Israel

Many international venture-capital firms, scientific research institutes and high-tech companies are housed in this beautiful Mediterranean city. Other rich and bountiful industries in Tel Aviv include chemical processing, textile plants and food manufacturers. The city is known as a thriving technological center and the tech industry here only continues to grow on a daily basis.

San Jose, California

Considered by many to be the Capital of Silicon Valley, San Jose is probably California’s best-kept secrets.  With so many high tech companies nearby employing high tech people, San Jose now boasts world class dining, excellent museums, bustling nightlife, and excellent climate year-round. It is within 50 miles of both San Francisco and the Pacific coast, so be sure to check out this part of the Bay!

Austin, Texas

Often called the “Silicon Hills of the Southwest” because of the major computing businesses in the area, Austin is one of the fastest growing cities in the country. There is an abundance of thriving entrepreneurial passion in this hot Texan town. It is also an up-and-coming music center with lots of fresh talent to be tapped into. San Diego, California

San Diego is known for its beautiful beaches and sunny weather year-round. One of the highlights of the summer season, though, is the world-famous Comic Con that takes place in the heart of downtown. Hordes of comic book fans flock from all corners to the country to attend this four-day long event, and don’t be surprised to cross paths with some famous people too!
