Davey Wavey and the Homophobic TSA Agent
For National Coming Out Day, I traveled to Milwaukee, Wisconsin and spoke to a group of university students. It was a lovely trip and I met hundreds of impassioned students. I left the college feeling inspired and hopeful about the future of both our movement and LGBT community at large. That is, until I reached the airport. - read more

Davey Wavey hits Anaheim- and Disneyland!
The fervor, passion and enthusiasm with which so many men and women—gay and straight alike—regard Disney can almost be described as religious. For these people, a trip to Disneyland is like a visit to the Holy Land. It’s sacred ground. - read more

Davey Wavey and Toronto Bathhouses
Of all the cities that I’ve ever visited, few feel as much like home as Toronto. Maybe it’s because, between my dozen or so trips to Toronto, I’ve spent a collective two years of my life here. Or maybe it’s because, in stark contrast to the chilly, dull weather, Torontonians are some of the warmest, friendliest and most colorful people that I’ve ever met. - read more

Having said that, luxury traveling can be great—but it’s not as great as many people think. Like anything else, there are pros and cons. - read more

Davey Wavey lifts his Pinky at the Provincetown Tea Dance
For more than 25 years, the Tea Dance has been a Provincetown favorite. Each day, hundreds of men (and a few dozen adventurous women) descend on the Boatslip’s dock for drinks, good music and dancing. And, if the sun is out and the Mercury is rising, you’ll undoubtedly see lots and lots of skin. Best of all, the dance is from 4:00 – 7:00PM. In other words, it works perfectly with my bedtime. - read more

Davey Wavey’s take on The Out NYC Hotel!
As someone that spends quite a bit of time in NYC, I was admittedly a bit excited to try The Out NYC—which is billed as the first “straight-friendly hotel and entertainment complex in New York City.” - read more
