Aside from some bright colored cockatoos, you might very well be the only gay on the island. Well, at least in the rainforest! Due to the fact that there really isn’t much more than a handful of guesthouses in Cubuy, there is no gay scene.

So bring some friends, family or a loved one and make it your own. Pack a picnic, trek out into the rainforest, and dip your toes into the fresh flows of rainwater. Dunk your head in a waterfall. Cannonball into a giant pool of clear water. Grill up a dinner and crack some beers together. Just don’t squeal with delight too loudly – that would be a dead giveaway!
