Travel & Leisure’s annual “World’s Best Awards” ranks everything from the finest cities, hotels, cruise ships, etc… around the world, but it’s the list of the finest cities in the United States and Canada that really jumped out at us.
Why? Because the top three cities are from the deep south.
Toping the list? Charleston, South Carolina, perhaps a picture-perfect representation of what the South has to offer. The city is followed on the list by New Orleans and Savannah, Georgia.
Further down the list, at number 10, is Asheville, North Carolina. Other U.S. cities, including Chicago and San Francisco, made the top ten, joined by Quebec City and Victoria, B.C. representing Canada.
