2015 is going to be a big year for travel. See some of the most travel worthy events of the year. 

1. Singapore's Golden Jubilee

On August 9th, 2015 Singapore celebrates 50 years of independence in 2015. Events will be held throughout the year but the best time to visit will be on August 9 for National Day, as this year's celebrations are expected to be bigger and better than ever. The event will feature parades, youth rallies, the opening of a new walkway from the Civic District to Marina Bay, and one of the most spectacular fireworks display the world has seen. 

2. Rugby World Cup 2015

Beginning October 3rd, 2015 the Rugby World Cup will (kick off?) in Newcastle United Kingdom. "The Rugby World Cup is the third biggest sporting event in the world and it will be the largest sporting event in England next year," says Eric Fry, a member of the American team who also plays for Newcastle's local rugby union team.

 

3. EURO PRIDE 2015

Riga, Latvia has been selected to host the 2015 Euro Pride. The week long celebration takes place June 15th - June 21st, 2015. Riga has been most recognized for its architectual achievements and being named the European Capital of Culture in 2014.
