Island Activities

As a guest of Thatch Caye you can enjoy the exclusive use of kayaks, paddle boards, snorkel gear, fishing poles, and other non-motorized island toys at no extra charge. Explore the surrounding waters, relax in a hammock or bask in the sun, it's all included! The activities staff is happy to get into the water with you to help you get started or to provide tips on your technique. Dining & Drinks

At Thatch Caye Resort, they understand how important your dining experience is so they hire the best local chefs to ensure you can enjoy a wide variety of Belizean and international dishes. Your typical daily menu consists of a fresh cooked, made to order breakfast, a traditional Belizean lunch, afternoon snack and your choice of two authentic entrees for dinner.

Overwater Bungalows

If your dream vacation includes a room over-the-water, the bungalows are just for you! The 5 overwater bungalows sit on stilts out over the ocean. With stunning 180 degree views of distant islands and clear blue water they are a true vacationer’s paradise.

Island Cabanas

Beautifully located, the four elegant and spacious island cabanas have spectacular ocean views, en-suite baths, king-sized or two twin beds, window seats, easy chairs and dining tables. A 400 sq. ft. private roof patio with hammocks and lounge chairs complete your spacious home away from home.

Overwater Villas

Perched high above the sea, the more spacious overwater villas easily accommodate 2 adults.  These villas share a large deck with hammocks that sway in the sea breezes. The villas are a friendly close-knit group of thatched overwater bungalows nestled together over the sea.   With individual bathrooms with shower, and air-conditioning (but you likely won’t need it), villas are a great way for budget-conscious travelers to get the overwater experience

Full Island Rental

Ready to check one off your bucket list? That daydream about living on a beautiful private island with just your friends and family can become a reality. From destination weddings to corporate retreats, Thatch Caye can host it all! The All Inclusive Belize Island Rental Package features 13 villas, making it ideal for a group of 24-26 guests, but can hold up to 30 guests. Each villa can be set up with a king bed or two twin beds for added flexibility.
