CULTURAL STORY
The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas is taking a unique approach to representing the culture of Hawai‘i. To create an authentic space, the resort displays various Hawaiian artifacts and art throughout, while the history of the islands will be told through various types of design, décor and experiences. The platform for the entire resort stems from ‘Aina-Kānaka: humankind’s direct relationship with the land. This concept will be leveraged to create stories, physical spaces and experiences that feel indigenous and meaningful to everyone who comes to The Westin Nanea Ocean Villas.
ROOMS & VILLAS
Bask in expansive living areas with contemporary furnishings and culturally inspired décor and rest easy on Heavenly beds and flat screen TVs, featured in each bedroom of every one-, two- or three-bedroom villa. Accommodations also include a dining room and kitchen, complete with refrigerator and ice maker, dishwasher, flat stove top, microwave, oven, coffee maker, toaster, blender and dinnerware. Luxurious master bathrooms include a large shower, stand-alone soaking tub and double sink vanity. The living area provides a wardrobe armoire and a queen-size sofa sleeper and a Bose® sound system.

Mauka Makai is a culinary experience celebrating the farming and fishing culture of ancient Hawai'i. Ancient Hawaiians drew their sustenance-physical and spiritual- from the land and sea around them. Seafood provided the primary protein in the Hawaiian diet, complementing staples such as taro, sweet potato and breadfruit. This sets the stage for Mauka Makai - toward the mountain, toward the ocean.
Inu, the Hawaiian word for drink, is a spectacular pool bar with breathtaking views of Kā‘anapali Beach from two levels. With local island favorites and an atmosphere designed to inspire one to ho'onanea, Inu Pool Bar promises to delight.
Kauhale, or place of gathering, is a destination in itself. This on-site market offers food, gifts and other products, many of which support the local community and promote Hawaiian culture.
