Often associated with the lifestyles of the rich and famous, Beverly Hills, California is situated on the edges of Bel-Air and the LGBT neighborhood of West Hollywood. For those visiting, the 90210 area is a Los Angeles destination spot that offers memorable movie and television backdrops like the Beverly Hills Hotel and Rodeo Drive, high-end designer stores worthy of satisfying the cravings of fashionistas and divas alike, and various recreational parks perfect for picnics, walks and jogs.

As with most Southern California cities, Beverly Hills sees warm to hot temperatures with very little wind during the summers, and in the winter, the climate is cool with occasional rain alternating with periods of Santa Ana winds.

Depending on your area of interest in the city, you can choose from many transportation options to get from A to B. Whether it’s your own personal car, public transportation, or cab rides, using a vehicle to navigate around Beverly Hills can be a time-saver, or a heavy burden. Remember, this city is in Los Angeles, which means heavy traffic will occur at various times throughout the day. Street parking is primarily metered or requires a permit, and there are also parking structures near the shopping areas and business districts. Then again, if you’re the type to walk rather than ride, there are many sites like parks and Rodeo Drive that are best seen on a stroll.

Being that Beverly Hills is comprised of a wealthy community, it’s fortunate for the city that its streets are monitored by local law enforcement, allowing for low crime rates and a minimal homeless population when compared to other sectors of Los Angeles County. It’s a pretty city for any pretty woman, man, or tranny!
