On any night you can go to the Alibi and find something or someone to entertain you. Not to mention being open all day with a excellent food selection including a all you can eat lobster The Alibi has featured entertainment on most nights including every Monday night you can catch a free show by Florida’s own Dame Edna Michael Walters (as Dame Edna) belts out the tunes for 3-4 hours every Monday night coupled with a spot on voice impression of the real Dame Edna from Australia.  Florida’s Own Dame Edna is the ONLY sanctioned Dame Edna Impersonator by the original. Michael Walters even wears a pair of the real Dame Edna’s famous Glasses to complete his look. If you happen to still be around on Thursday night The Alibi is the place to be.  As with many gay bars in fort Lauderdale they all have their “featured” night where the drink special is so good that almost everyone in town comes out to enjoy it.  On Thursday at the Alibi you can enjoy 20oz Long Island Ice Teas served in a mason jar for the price of only $3, of course with a price like that why wouldn’t you go and stop in.  you might find your next Mr Right (or Right now) While Florida has not gone smoke free the Alibi is a smoke free place all the time where smokers adjourn to the parking lot out front to partake..  Have a drink in your hand?  That’s ok they will let you take it out with you. They have even placed tables out on the sidewalk area for you to sit.
