Loreto has beautiful beaches and places to go so if you plan to visit nearby highlights you can rent a car to more easily get around. If you want to know the immediate city you can get a bicycle or walk pretty much anywhere downtown and near the beaches. Loreto is pretty safe, so you don't need to worry, you will have a wonderful stay.
