And a digital juke box that bends control of the atmosphere towards it’s patrons.  Drinks are always reasonably priced, and quick, attentive service that means you never wait for a drink.  Regulars mirror the district’s history. You’ll meet drag queens, hipsters, blue collar workers and a cast of local characters from every walk of life.  They host weekly pool tournaments, cookouts out back, karaoke and campy, kitschy drag shows.  Wes, the daytime bartender is perhaps gay Reno’s most well known bartender. He can carry multiple conversations, tell dirty jokes and still manages to give attention to every stranger walking in by asking “Are you cut or uncut? Wait, let me guess!”  only to send them off a few hours later feeling like family.  If you were expecting a dive bar, Cadillac Lounge will disappoint.  It lives up to its self given title of  “Reno’s Alternative, Open Bar” as a happy place between a dive and well designed cocktail bar or lounge.  But that also doesn’t mean things don’t get wild, it simply means that the experience you create is what you get.  And everyone is welcomed.
