Gay Rhodes Island, Greece

While less known than nearby Mykonos, Rhodes Island Greece is increidbly welcoming to LGBT visitors from near and far. This laid back island has a friendly and laid-back atmosphere which makes for an especially restorative island jaunt. There are various gay beaches in Rhodes, including Faliraki, Kallithea, and Kato Petres. If the sand is not your style, check out some of the various Turkish baths in the area for a fully authentic spa experience.

The main gay bar in town is Berlin Bar, which is centrally located and frequented by locals and visitors alike. The beach Faliraki is also known for its LGBT presence. The entire island community is open to the gay community and is hospitable to any sort of visitors that come its way.

Boat and plane are the only ways to get to Rhodes, but once you are on the island it is easy to navigate by bus, taxi, or car. Aside from its beaches, Rhodes is known for its incredible ruins and castles. There are tons of water sports, hikes, and nature walks to indulge in, so bring your activewear and get ready to soak up the natural beauty of Rhodes! Excursions to nearby islands are also offered by various local tour operators so when you are done exploring Rhodes there is plenty more to see in the area!
