Adjacent to Phoenix, Scottsdale is an upscale resort town and shopping destination and America’s West at its finest. Sometimes called “a desert version of Miami’s South Beach” this desert oasis boasts popular nightlife, glamorous resorts and is a major art center for the metropolitan Phoenix area.
Known for its well heeled populace and high society, the city is home to many luxury restaurants, nightclubs, bars, art galleries, golf courses, and other cultural activities. The “West’s Most Western Town” is proud of its rich Western cowboy history, and offers an abundance of “western” diversions and events. Rodeos and horse shows in particular are popular draws for Scottsdale, where cowboys and cowgirls from around the world come to participate in these celebrations of Western US culture.
