About Me:

A Wine County native, I grew up outside Healdsburg, California and spent summers working in a winery in Alexander Valley. My love of travel started early, with my parents throwing us kids in the back of 1969 Buick station wagon to explore various US National Parks each summer. My first foreign travel was in high school as an AFS Exchange Student to Germany. After graduating from the prestigious UCLA Film School I worked in Creative Advertising & Marketing for Sony, creating trailers and TV spots for Columbia and TriStar Pictures. Realizing the Internet would become a distribution medium for media, I became an internet executive at the Fortune 100 Telecommunications giant NTT, where I traveled extensively throughout Asia and the Pacific. After nearly 10 years in International Business, I returned to my roots in Wine Country, joining Fosters Wine Estates to develop their online wine business in the Americas, bringing with me my expertise in ecommerce, online marketing and social media marketing. In 2009, looking to merge my love of travel and wine with the gay community, I founded Out In The Vineyard, an experiential Wine Country Event and Travel company, promoting positive LGBT lifestyles and offering exclusive, luxury itineraries and events in Wine Country for the discerning gay traveler and our friends. I am an experienced traveler and photographer having explored 31 countries on all seven continents.
