Our accommodations range from luxurious tree houses with roof top decks to comfortable jungle cabanas, and bungalows. All accommodations include hot and cold water indoor bathrooms with showers and private outdoor jungle showers (a guest favorite!)
At our restaurant, all meals are served buffet style and offer a variety of vegetarian meals, meat dishes, and fresh local fruits and vegetables. All buffet items, including our breads, are freshly prepared and baked for each meal. You won't go away hungry, we guarantee it. We (the owners) join our guests for dinner and love sharing the many adventures we’ve survived over the years.
Caves Branch is not sanitized from its surroundings; it’s a part of it! If you’re looking for a unique setting where wildlife abounds while experiencing amazing adventures found only in Belize, then we are just what you are looking for!
Please note: Belize remains a generally religiously conservative nation and as a result there are no locally-driven gay scenes or explicitly gay venues. It is also important to note that in Belize any intense public displays of affection is frowned upon for all couples, straight or gay. Ian Anderson (owner & manager) has been outspoken in support of gay rights in Belize and openly welcomes ALL travelers, gay or straight, to enjoy all that Caves Branch has to offer. Keep in mind that, except for our special LGBT weeks, our lodge is frequented by families and guests of all orientations who go on adventures and eat together in our communal dinning room.

Ian Anderson’s Caves Branch Adventure Co. and Jungle Lodge is neither a sightseeing business nor a Resort! All of our expeditions can be strenuous and designed for the adventurous spirit. Our accommodations are located in the heart of the Jungle off the grid and the Jungle Lodge is also considered home to many jungle creatures and they do often visit our guest facilities. We clean and maintain our accommodations very well, but sometimes a creepy-crawly will come to visit. Also remember that we are in the rain forest so it is not unusual to have short bouts of intense rain. Tours are rarely canceled due to rain and it just adds to the fun.
Remember…we are NOT a resort, but we do want to make your stay enjoyable so if you are not satisfied or something is not right let us know right away and we’ll do what we can to make it better.

We stayed in the Tree House room, so much better than I had imagined! Huge room, with netting acting as 3 of the walls so you really heard the sounds of the creatures at night...SO COOL!!! It did take a little to get used to, and the night of the lightning storm was the craziest we have ever had.
