Blu Dragon LGBT Afterhours at Japengo’s Sushi Bar and Lounge

Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa invites the public to the new Blu Dragon LGBT afterhours event in Japengo’s Sushi Bar and Lounge, located on the third floor Ewa Tower, 2424 Kalakaua Avenue. The event is scheduled for every third Friday of the month beginning February 17 from 10 p.m. to 2 a.m. Includes DJ, sushi bar and cocktails, validated self-parking, and no cover charge.

“We are really excited about starting this new afterhours event. We have been looking into different opportunities over the years but with the opening of Japengo – we have found the perfect venue for a new LGBT event,” says Vincent Brunetti food and beverage director at Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa.

Japengo is open Wednesday through Sunday with seating in the Sushi Bar and Lounge beginning at 5:30 p.m. and dining from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The newest Hyatt Waikiki restaurant, Japengo features Pacific Rim Cuisine, expertly rolled sushi, and exotic cocktails. The contemporary design of the restaurant includes communal tables, an interactive sushi bar and lounge, private dining rooms as well as intimate tables for two. Japengo is a Hyatt Hotels operated restaurant recognized for the successful Café Japengo in La Jolla and the new Japengo in Maui which opened in January, 2011. The restaurant is located on the third floor Ewa Tower of Hyatt Regency Waikiki Beach Resort and Spa. The restaurant will be open beginning October 19 and every Wednesday through Sunday after that from 6:00 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. Craft cocktails and sake are available in the Lounge from 5:30 to 10:00 p.m.
