   IMPORTANT INFORMATION

Hotels:
All of our hotels will be 3 star very centrally located in the centre of Rome, Florence and Venice. Contact us for more information and rates to extend your stay.
Hotel Colosseum, Rome: The Hotel Colosseum is located in the centre of Ancient Rome in a quite street, between the Cathedral of St. Mary Major and the Coliseum, near the main train station Termini and the Domus Aurea. The hotel is located in one of the highest points of the Esquilino Hill and thanks to it's very pleasent terrace gives to it's clients an unic opportunity to join a wonderful panoramic view of 360° of all Rome and environs.
Hotel Torre Guelfa, Florence: The building, constructed out of rustic hewn stone, has a severe fortress-like apperance. To the right of the entrance is the famous 13th century tower, erected in 1280 by the Buondelmonte family, former owners of the site. In the 14th century, the tower became part of the Acciaiuoli palace and has survived many conflicts from medieval time to after the second World War, making it one of the last and highest historical towers still standing. From its terraces guests can admire a superb view of the town and enjoy dreaming sunsets while having a drink in a medieval atmosphere. The Torre Guelfa once protected the fabulously wealthy Acciaiuoli family and is now one of the best-located small hotels in Florence. Each guest room is different, some with canopied beds, some with balconies.
Venice: to be announced.

Visas:
Canadian and American passport holders are NOT required to have visas to enter Italy for tourism purposes.

Shots and Immunizations:
There are no shots that are required for travel to Italy but we recommend that your tetanus booster be up to date.

Currency and Money Issues:
It is very easy to withdraw money from ATMs located throughout the country as well as to use your Visa or MasterCard. The American Express card is less widely accepted. Travelers checks are also accepted however can carry a heavy commission fee. We recommend to travelers to bring only a small amount of cash and/or travelers checks and to rather use their ATM and credit cards while traveling.
