This is the LA Pride event I look forward to the most. It’s free and radically different from all the other pride festivities. Bring your families and food and drinks and hang in the park (a la SF’s Dolores Park Dyke March )with your friends or meet new ones. The vibe is laid back but in a drunken party way and feels like everyone is hanging out with each other. There are bands that play and community booths with awesome food. The kids that throw this event do fundraisers in the weeks leading up to the event and always throw down for a good time.
