Not all outdoor hiking happens at Runyon. This picture perfect hike is part of the Santa mountain range. The climb begins fairly steep but then levels off. Dogs are welcome but must remain on the leash the whole time. There is a parking lot but it cost $3 to park in it. Bring cash as the pre pay machine is broken often.There is plenty of street parking if you like. And for the pooches, mid hike is a faucet with dog bowl so they can drink.
