Manchester Museum

27 Jan 10 - Sightseeing in Manchester

The Manchester Museum was built in 1912, and some of the exhibits are still displayed in the same format as they were nearly a century ago. Some favorites of visitors include the Egyptology display, the aquarium, the exhibition of reconstructed skeletons, and the display of common characteristics between primates and early Homo sapiens. Other galleries well worth visiting include the Oriental Gallery and the Mediterranean Gallery.
