Welcome to Milwaukee’s Gayborhood!  Most of the action is situated around two areas, the Historic Third Ward and Walkers Point. Dozens of old warehouses in Historic Third Ward have been converted into amazing lofts, art galleries, chic cafes and stunning lounges. Walker’s Point serves as one of the main gay residential areas in the city, and hosts the majority of gay nightlife hotspots that range from mellow dive bars to full-scale nightclubs. Though Milwaukee has a thriving GLBT scene, the gay bars are anything but single-sexed. Diverse crowds flow in and out of the designated gay bars in Milwaukee, primarily because they are some of the most enjoyable destinations around.
