The Country Club sits in the unassuming working-class Bywater Historic District, yet the building itself is a grand example of New Orleans architecture. A wraparound veranda frames this soft yellow house, an inviting welcome. Inside, you will find a restaurant, bar, spa and…a private, clothing-optional pool!
The Country Club prides itself on being a “neighborhood secret for over 35 years,” and it definitely feels a bit like you are in on something when you lounge by the pool in the picturesque courtyard. The food during the day is fairly standard pub fare, with Chef Coy LeBleu spicing things up in the evening. The bar serves a bevy of beverages, in the bar and out by the pool.
Sip a cocktail in the Jacuzzi, sidle up to the cabana bar, enjoy a massage, or just soak up the sun au naturel by the pool. It’s an only-in-New Orleans experience!
A pool pass or annual membership required for the pool, restaurant and bar are open to anyone over 21.
