Art and Soul is all about music, artistic expression, food, culture and a good time.  If you don’t live in the area, I suggest taking public transportation (BART being the easiest) due to highly congested streets and scarce parking options.  This is the perfect festival to take the kids or to just stroll around and enjoy the many vendors and activities offered.  The live music and dancing sets the tone for this light-hearted event.  Every year I’m torn between the amazing food options, among my favorites are the BBQ tri tip, catfish and fries, crab cakes, cajun turkey sausage, jambalaya, gumbo and the crawfish etoufee.  See what I’m sayin?
