Mirabar is THE place to go for the younger guys in Providence.  The club is Providence’s most popular dance spot, in part because of the boys wandering around in tight briefs with dollar shots for sale.  But it’s not just half naked 20-somethings that draw the crowds.  Mirabar’s DJs are some of the best in Providence.

In addition to dancing on the first floor, Mirabar has a second floor that overlooks the dancers.  This area is great for taking a break, but still feeling part of the crowd. Up on the third floor, you can find karaoke or a piano/cabaret act depending on the night.

Drinks are relatively cheap, and fairly strong.  All the bartenders are amazing, but Henry seems to be the popular one.

Other special nights include:  Retro night on Wednesdays, one of the most popular mid-week nights.  Strip Poker on Thursdays is a bit of a misnomer.  There is definitely some stripping, but there is no poker. Contestants roll dice to see who loses clothing.  The result is the same—someone’s getting naked and someone’s winning a cash prize.

Open until 1am Sunday - Thursday, and 2am on Fridays and Saturdays.  Definitely a club to check out.
