I thought about mentioning the Dick Dock, but that might be too much! If you go in the off season, some things remain open. You can have a wonderful dinner at the Mews while enjoying some of the locals on open mic night.  Outside is the cold ocean but the inside is warm and cozy and the experience makes you feel like part of a community not just a tourist.
