A recent addition to the restaurant scene in Provincetown, Saki Sushi has become a favorite for many. Housed inside a spacious interior originally designed as a Methodist Church, Saki is Asian fusion style dining done with perfection. Start off with the salted Edamame served in a banana leaf or the Smoked Squid Salad, a light blend of crisp shredded red cabbage and seasoned smoked squid served in a cocktail glass. The seafood is all wonderfully fresh, including the fish coming from the opposite coast and most of the sushi rolls use ingredients that give the fusion a New England feel, like the Beihia Roll made with fried sweet potato or the Provincetown Roll made with apple, tuna, tobiko and wasabi mayo. If sushi and rolls are not to your liking they also have a full dinner menu with dishes like a Lime-glazed Atlantic Salmon or a Thai Pepper Steak. Top it all off with signature cocktails (my favorite is the Asian Pear Cocktail: Stoli Vanilla Vodka, Asian Pear Sake and a splash of passion fruit juice) from the bar and deserts like Homemade Key Lime Pie or Green Tea Ice Cream. Moderately priced.
