Our team will work with you at every step in an almost invisible way to make the Incredible India experience truly memorable!Starting from the Delhi, the capital of modern India, this itinerary takes you across the state, bringing alive the vibrant colors of the desert state. Delhi is also the hub of India's amazing LGBT communities. Our craefully planned tour will enable you to interact and mingle with Delhi's gay communities. Visit Osiyan on the sand dunes and the great kingdoms of the Rajputana- Jaisalmer, Jodhpur, Bikaner,Udaipur, and Jaipur where even so many years after democracy handed power to the people, the old ways live on.

Today, many of the forts and palaces have opened their doors to visitor as luxury hotels and resorts. Often run by members of erstwhile ruling families, these have given a new lease of life not only to building but also to the culture. Staying here is to almost travel back in to the time- to an era that was gracious, graceful and romantic. In most places, erstwhile rulers are still addressed as 'father', 'protector', 'provider of the food', and command both respect and loyalty and though the pomp of ceremony many not compare with what it was in the old days, just a glimpse of the shadow of a royal lifestyle can be a fascinating and memorable experience.

Cinque Terre by Land and Sea - Voyager Cinque Terre

This is the Mediterranean that you have always dreamed of: traditional villages that rise up from the sea high into the hills above, surrounded by vineyards, olive groves, and lemon trees. The Cinque Terre is a wonder of man and nature. You will spend 5 nights exploring these towns and the surrounding area.

Our base is Levanto, just 5 miles north of the Cinque Terre, a lovely beach town with its own beauties to discover. Staying here gives us more flexibility in our choices and a break from the sometimes overcrowded towns within the Cinque Terre. From here we will walk, hike, boat, train, and bike the area, hitting all of the major sites plus exploring the spots that most tourists don’t even know exist.

Culture, sun, and food are the highlights of this trip. You’ll be immersed in Ligurian landscapes and culinary traditions. Though a couple of destinations require a bit of effort to get to, most of the time we’ll be taking it relatively easy, slowing down the pace, and living a bit like our Italian hosts. Our itinerary follows the rhythms of the sea, with high points of activity followed by low moments of relaxation and camaraderie. On the first day we get our bearings in Levanto, our base for this once-in-a-lifetime trip, and try out the Italian dolce vita with an aperitivo and orientation session at the beach. The second day of touring is the classic Cinque Terre coastal walk followed by an unexpected twist up into the hills to see a bit of the countryside and a 13th century Sanctuary. Day three takes us out on the water for a boat trip with a local guide, where we will have the chance to view hidden bays and snorkel in prime waters, allowing for beach time and a leisurely bike trip to a nearby town.

The fourth day we hike along the legendary Trail Number 1 into the Cinque Terre, visit another of the remarkable towns, and then get a lesson in viticulture from one of the best vineyards in the area, followed by lunch and wine-tasting at their house. Day five is your chance to explore the old town of Genoa and get a private cooking lesson with a renowned local chef.

All the while, your guides will be with you to teach a bit about the history and culture of Liguria, and to lead you to the premier eating spots in the area. After all, what is Italy without its food? We have carefully chosen your dining arrangements with the idea of letting you try every type of cuisine on offer, from the most traditional Ligurian peasant dishes in century-old osteria, to elegant seafood restaurants in chic locales.

Our tour starts with a night in a comfortable guesthouse in Windhoek, Namibia’s capital whose architecture reflects the European heritage of the city’s founders.

The next morning we head to Windhoek’s Eros domestic airport and board our light aircraft to cross the desert to the Sossusvlei Dunes, among the most magnificent anywhere in the world. After a short ride from the landing strip we arrive at our first of three tented camps.

Each is run by Wilderness Safaris with the objective of being in harmony with their surroundings. To the degree possible, building materials are from the surrounding region. The goal is to be part of the landscape, so fencing and other barriers are minimal.

Each day local guides will take us on excursions to look for some of the wide variety of wildlife that call this desert home. We’ll then return to our thatched roof tents for al fresco meals, including dinner under the vast expanse of the Namibian night sky. At our first camp, there is even a rooftop “skybed” for skygazing or under moonlight, looking for elusive nocturnal creatures down below.

After two nights at Sossusvlei we continue on to the Damaraland Camp below towering mountains of an escarpment near the Skeleton Coast for two nights, then we finish just outside Etosha National Park, with perhaps the highest concentration of wildlife in the country.

Stay in a villa that has stood since the 14th century, and which has been restored to its ancient splendor by American with deep family roots in the soil of Puglia.

During our week in Puglia, we’ll have five biking days, each a little longer and more strenuous than the one before it. On our first riding day we’ll head over to the nearby village of Terlizzi to meet our neighbors, and perhaps sample a bit of the local cuisine. We’ll ride on to Sovereto, once a medieval sanctuary of the Knights Templar. We ride a little farther the next two days to the former necropolis of Ruvo di Puglia and the Adriatic port of Giovinazzo.

Mid-week we have a rest day from biking and take a mini-bus to the Basilicata region, where we will explore the hill town of Matera, with its winding streets and cave dwellings. We finish the week with rides to the National Park of La Murgia and the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Castel del Monte, a castle perched on a hill.

Each day we enjoy the food and wine of the region at our villa and at restaurants in Terlizzi and around the area.
