One of the most active and up in coming spots in the US is Milwaukee, Wisconsin. With its inspiring and jaw-dropping attractions, to its elegant and cultured restaurants, Milwaukee is a must see. I’ll be going through the ins and outs of Milwaukee to show that you don’t need to be big or highly publicized to hold your own with San Francisco or New York City.To start off your day with a nice and filling breakfast, go to downtown Milwaukee’s local favorite, the Café Pfister. This neighborhood gem is one of Milwaukee’s finest breakfast & lunch spots serving a three course meal in 30 minutes. It’s a perfect spot to catch a glimpse of the hustle and bustle of downtown city life.The liveliest spots to be around would have to be the Milwaukee Art Museum right next to Lake Michigan. The building itself is an architectural marvel with its breathtaking views of the lake, lavished grand halls, and their Café Calatrava’s food is spectacular. It holds the best collections and exhibits year-round making it a great stop on your way through Milwaukee.Just a few blocks down Wisconsin Avenue you’ll find Mo’s Irish Pub where they serve up daily favorites during happy hour and feature live entertainment at night. The Milwaukee Brat House, in the middle of Baran Park has the best deals on delicious grilled polish and Italian sausages in the US. The Diablos Rojos Restaurant Group has four different restaurants scattered throughout downtown Milwaukee serving the best beers around.The last stop would have to be The Historic Third Ward. Considered Milwaukee’s best kept secret, it houses the largest concentration of art galleries, restaurants, public markets and specialty stores.
