Central Park is arguably one of the most photographed spots on the planet — and one of the most romantic.
So it makes sense that Joseph Turnage and Brandon Moore would choose the park to have their engagement photos taken.
What they likely didn’t expect was to be joined by a comedian in the middle of her afternoon jog while taking the pictures.
“Oh my God! Are you taking engagement photos? Let me get in one!” Schumer yelled as she stopped mid jog and ran up to them.
The couple didn’t recognize Schumer at first, and why would they. I mean, it isn’t every day one of the most in demand funny ladies in the world stops her workout to pose for photos voluntarily.
“I thought it was a little weird, but I said yes anyways,” Siegel told People Magazine. “She took off her sunglasses, we snapped a quick pic, and right after, she says, ‘You guys know I’m like reeeeeeal famous.’ I take another look it hit me that it was Amy Schumer!
“My face went totally blank and I said, ‘Oh my god! Amy! I love you!’ Needless to say I was pretty excited,” Seigel added.
