Now that we have filled your heads with all sorts of ideas regarding your Dirty Thirty travel here are some tips to make those travels even more enjoyable...

Snow Driving

When driving on snowy mountain roads, make sure to have snow chains on hand and ready to be installed – in many areas they are required. Also, cold weather deflates tires so make sure to fill them up before hitting the road. It is helpful to have rest-stops and alternative hotels planned out in case of road closures or weather-delays

Even if the weather is cold, dehydration is absolutely something to be aware of and avoid, especially while engaging in winter sports. Be sure to get plenty of water in between ski and snowboarding runs, or even while being out and about in your winter town of choice!

Fly Non-Stop

Because of unexpected weather, plane flights can be delayed for pretty long amounts of time. Because of this, having multiple flights to get to your vacation destination can be problematic. In order to avoid missing your connecting flight, try to book direct flights or leave a good 2-3 hours as a cushion of time for layovers.
