Here at GayTravel, we started saying, “Done is the new perfect.” In this crazy time, perfection is no longer a realistic requirement. As a community, we have to learn to shift our expectations. It is necessary to help us grow during this time of quarantine, isolation, and uncertainty.
It’s time we learn to pivot. Pivoting requires adaptability, but thankfully, this is a skill that can be learned and practiced every day. Find new ways to persist during this pandemic (easier said than done, but doable).

While we have to change the way we do life right now, there are still things we can do to feel a sense of “normal.” Now is the time to intentionally connect with friends and family. We have the chance to make and use the time that we previously didn’t have available. We can find creative ways to shift our regular activities. Talking to even just one person a day can ease the loneliness of stay-at-home orders.
There is comfort in knowing that everyone is experiencing change, and everyone is struggling to make sense of it. You are not alone. There is no “wrong way” to self-quarantine.
Show us how you “pivot”! Join the Conversation below or send us an email at info@GayTravel.com to tell us how you’re adapting, or tag us in your social media post. We would love to share it with our community to encourage others.
