Much of Vermont is still recovering from the devastation of Hurricane Irene. Flooding destroyed homes, roads and historic structures, including some of the state’s iconic covered bridges.
Still, organizers of Northern Decadence say the show will go on! The first annual showcase of Vermont’s beautiful scenery, delicious foods, and welcoming people is also a celebration for the LGBT community. Events include a Culinary Cruise on Lake Champlain, Art Show and Dance Party.
