Safe sex just got a little more difficult to practice in Venezuela.

The latest casualty of the country’s mounting economic crisis, condoms, which were once easy to come by, have been added to the list of products that are becoming increasingly difficult to obtain.

According to the Associated Press, as on Monday, a box of 24 durex condoms was selling on a Craigslist-type website for $317.

The price hike has public health workers concerned. The country is already dealing with a high HIV infection and teen pregnancy rate.

So before booking a trip to Venezuela, toss a box of condoms into your carry on.
