Christiansted is a lively town located on St. Croix, the main island in the US Virgin Islands. It is quite a scenic town considering its 18th century Danish architecture. Houses are painted in various pastel colors and have a red tile roof, and there are cobblestone sidewalks throughout the town! As long as you're not too far inland, you'll be sure to find a sidewalk that leads directly to the beach.
While being a small town, Christiansted still has much to offer. The commercial area of the island offers various boutiques and restaurants. This part of the town is closer to the water, so you will notice a lot of diving shops that offer scuba diving as well! The biggest point of interest is the Protestant Cay in the Christiansted Harbor. Here you can stay at the Hotel on the Cay and enjoy exclusive beaches, shops, and restaurants.
