La Duni

La Duni is one of the best spots in Dallas for fresh, inventive Latin cuisine in a trendy and fun neighborhood. There's several locations now, but the original and still the best is in Oak Lawn. Don't let its unassuming location in a shopping strip fool you- the food is outstanding and unique, creating a blend of various Latin flavors for lunch, dinner, and weekend brunch. Brunch is what they're known for, and for good reason. Everything has a little twist, from the Latin dishes like breakfast tacos or brunch chile relleno, to more traditionally inspired plates like the salmon scramble and rum banana nut waffle. Even the drinks are amazing. The Viennese Truffled Ice Chocolate Milk is indulgent, and if it's a Sunday Funday, go for the hand-muddled Mojito or Mimosa made with hand-squeezed orange juice. You won't be disappointed!
