Gay Split

The hub of Croatia’s Adriatic is a blend of ancient and modern, known for wonderful architecture, delicious cuisine and awesome nightlife. Nearly everything worth seeing in Split is concentrated on the palm-lined waterfront and in the compact Old Town, made up of the Roman Emperor Diocletian’s Palace itself and its medieval extensions. You can walk across this area in about ten minutes, although it would take a lifetime to explore the hundreds of sights, bars, restaurants and shops thriving amid the atmospheric old walls.
