Gay Tortola

Tortola is the beautiful capital island of the British Virgin Islands. There is so much to do and explore on the island, that it makes for an unforgettable destination on your next cruise! The eyes of tourists are always drawn to the many sailboats, and of course the white-sand beaches. On top of that you can indulge in the local cuisine, which is excellent by the way. The fabulous scenery and food is just the tip of the iceberg!

If you're the shopping type, then you'll fall in love with Main Street! Feel free to browse the local rums, foods, crafts, jewelry, arts, and clothing. If you prefer to get a little more active, Tortola can definitely accommodate your taste. There are various types of fishing available, some with tour guides! You can also scuba dive, snorkel, paddle surf, rent a boat, order private charters, and explore the historic island. There's so much that the island offers so you should not find yourself bored.

If you travel to Tortola without a cruise, that is an amazing experience as well! You definitely have more freedom and time to do what you desire. In fact, you could visit or stay at one of the neighboring islands, such as Scrub Island!
