Things to do in Gay Los Angeles

What’s attractive about Los Angeles for most gay travelers? Boystown USA, AKA West Hollywood! West Hollywood is such a great gay wonderland unto itself, that it deserves its own city page. However, the entertainment capital of the world has much more to offer to the gay traveler, than just WeHo. Gay Los Angeles is known for its diversity, and there are a variety of communities that can fit any traveler’ interests. Click here for a list of gay friendly accommodations.

The place to start out at is Olvera St. Going to Olvera St. will take you on a cultural experience that will take you back to when California was governed by Mexico. LA is predominantly a Latino city, and to understand LA this would be a great start. It’s great fun walking from store to store seeing all the Mexican knick knacks, and there is nothing more delicious than fine Mexican dining found here.

Then of course, how could you not stop at Tinsel Town when making a trip to LA? The main attractions here are the Kodak Theater, where the Oscars are currently held, and Grauman’s Chinese Theater, the famous theater where celebrities imprint their hands in cement. Up and down the streets, you will see the sidewalks lined with famous stars, good eats, and swanky clubs.

The Scene

LA has one of the best gay scenes in the country. With cool clubs and bumpin’ music, you’ll be dancing the night away to the DJ’s beats. Again, for the scene I suggest checking out our WeHo Page.
